Eric Blaustein, 98, son of the late Tobias and the late Elizabeth Blaustein, Husband for 60 years of the late Cipi Blaustein, Father of Tammie Bob (Steven Bob) and Oded Blaustein (Ziva Blaustein), grandfather of Lisa Kaplan Bob (Jeffery Kaplan), Abbey Nagola (Asaf Nagola), Gideon Bob (Molly Bob), the late Aviad Blaustein and Eran Blaustein (Michal Blaustein). Brother of the late Eleanor Krongold (The late Dr. David Krongold) and Hannah Smith (The late Rabbi H.D. Uriel Smith). Great Grandfather to Nat, Ethan and Julia Howard, Kira and Jonah Bob, Naama, Talya and Ayala Nagola, and Dvir, Hila and Adva Blaustein. Eric was a Holocaust survivor who later served as an officer in the Palmach in Israel’s War of Independence. He had a successful career as an engineer and enjoyed being a highly knowledgeable amateur archeologist.
