Albert was well known and a respected fountain of knowledge of the glass business, and was often sought out by his colleagues for his extensive expertise. Beloved husband of Donna, nee Pollack; dear brother of the late Frieda Helfer and Rose Mantell; loving son-in-law of Sophie and Jacob Pollack; fond brother-in-law of Ronald (Marla) Pollack and Sharon (Ed) Green; cherished uncle of Ariane and Stephanie Pollack, Deborah (Edwin) Daniels, Daniel Green, Harvey (Gina), Gail, and Joel Helfer; also survived by great nieces and great nephews. Services Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. Congregation Etz Chaim, 1710 S. Highland Avenue, Lombard, 60148. Interment Jewish Waldheim.
