ORLANDO, FL-Marion Shirley Wolfman (nee Krieger) died on January 20, 2022.
She was born on June 7, 1928 in Chicago, IL and was raised in Kenosha, WI, by her parents Philip and Beatrice (Hoffman) Krieger. She met her future husband, Seymour Wolfman, following his military service, through mutual family and friends, and they married on her birthday, June 7, 1947. They celebrated 61 years together in a loving marriage. She graduated from Kenosha (Bradford) High School in Kenosha. Marion served for many years as the financial executive secretary to the Treasurer(s) of Case Corporation of Racine, a tractor and farm/construction manufacturer, and a major subsidiary of Tenneco Corporation. Among other duties, she traded millions of dollars daily on the international currency exchanges on behalf of Case. In 1989, after 42 years in Racine, they relocated to Orlando, FL for their retirement years. Marion was a longtime sustaining member of Beth Israel Sinai Temple (Racine), and a founding member of Southwest Orlando Jewish Congregation (Orlando). She was an active member and officer of Hadassah for many years. She was past senior counselor of the United Commercial Travelers Auxiliary. Marion is survived by her five sons and their families: Paul (Judith) of Chicago, IL; Gary (Laura S.) of Minneapolis, MN; Randy (Linda) of Rochester, MN; Larry of Orlando, FL; and Robert (Solange) of Brandon, FL.; nine grandchildren: Rebekah, Laura, Lindsay, Chai, Adam, Elisha, Rachel, Shannon and Kyle; and eight great-grandchildren: Nathan, Graham, Autumn, Violet, Hailey, Luke, Elliot and Jackson. Internment at B’nai Zedek Cemetery in Kenosha, WI. Donations requested to Southwest Orlando Jewish Congregation in Orlando, FL or charity of your choosing.
